Luther students can register in Arts, Science, or Media, Art, and Performance. Luther students are U of R students and receive a U of R degree.

The Luther Library has over 24,000 items in its collection, 5,000 books checked out per year, and 7,000 students who come through its door per month.

Building Enhancements
• An energy efficient air tight wall system built to accept the new windows will be installed between the existing projected window abutments. The steel wall system facing the exterior will add color to the building.
• The new energy efficient windows have aluminum exteriors with vinyl interiors, are attractive, frames have a forty-year life expectancy and are cost effective.
• Extensive use of granite-look solid surface materials for counter tops, window sills and tub surrounds provides a high-end appearance and longevity.
• Commercial grade flooring throughout for easy care and longevity.
• Use of carpet tile in corridors and lounges provides for spot replacement of stained or damaged sections for enhanced appearance and longevity.
• New energy efficient LED lighting throughout
• New and improved day/night lighting in corridors
• Improved emergency lighting
• Entire building will have fire sprinkler system and improved fire horns
• Improved fresh air supply to rooms and lounges.
• All windows in rooms and lounges get new double roller blinds consisting of one mesh light filtering blind and one blackout blind.
• Front stairs handrail will be replaced with a new updated hand rail.
• Front and back stairs get a fresh coat of paint and new carpet tile where applicable.
• Corridors get a fresh coat of paint as well as a dropped ceiling to conceal new mechanical.
• Facilities will be non-gender specific allowing for more gender-neutral living if desired.
• Talks are ongoing to change lounge furniture.
