Convocation

There are two convocation ceremonies held each year. Students must apply to gradute and can do so online through UR Self-Service. Before applying, please take the time to read through the student guide.
 

Spring

  • Ceremonies held in June.
  • Luther grads are welcome to attend both the Luther ceremony and the U of R ceremony.
  • Must apply by January 31 of the year of graduation.
  • Program must be completed by April of year of graduation.
  • Includes graduates who complete their programs in December or April.

Fall

  • Ceremonies held in October.
  • Luther grads are welcome to attend both the Luther ceremony and the U of R ceremony.
  • Must apply by July 31 of year of graduation.
  • Programs must be completed by August of the year of graduation.
     

Luther College Medal of Distinction

This medal is awarded at Spring Convocation to a Luther student graduating with a superior academic record of 85% UGPA or higher, and who has demonstrated leadership and service in the community according to the goals of Luther College. The community is deemed to include faith community, Luther College, the University of Regina, and society at large. For a list of previous recipients, please visit our Convocation Awards page.
