Encouraged to Grow

Students are encouraged to continue in their faith while studying at Luther. We are a unique community in which people of many different faiths cross paths and join in dialogue, and we actively encourage engagement with questions of spirituality and faith. Growth, in the type of religiously and culturally diverse community that characterizes Luther College, is fostered in those moments of exposure to multi-faith experiences, which serve as opportunities for us to contemplate our own faith backgrounds. We hope that you encounter many of these opportunities in your time at Luther.

Luther College as a school is, by its nature, transient. Although we have a Chaplain on staff, we are not a full time worshipping community and we do not strive to become one. Finding a local community of faith is important and our Chaplain can help you find whatever community you are looking for.

Christian Worship

Note: Guests are always welcome and we will do everything we can to make you feel comfortable while you are with us. Please feel free to participate in whatever parts of the service you are comfortable contributing to, or simply be with us and observe. As a member of the Positive Space Network, we ask that all our guests work hard to create a spirit of inclusivity for all people.
