  • Wondering where to live? Our student residence, The Student Village at Luther College, is considered a great choice for first-year student accommodation. Individual private rooms mean you can stick to your own schedule and you never have to deal with roommate hassles.

  • You can book a tour of Luther College, the U of R campus, and our student residence, The Student Village at Luther College, any time throughout the year. Contact our Recruitment Office at 1-306-206-2117.

  • Luther College offers Bundles programs that group together first-year students and classes to give you a great start and help ease the transition from high school to university.

  • Luther students can register in Arts, Science, or Media, Art, and Performance. Luther students are U of R students and receive a U of R degree.

  • Luther College appeals to students who want to study in a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment. We welcome students of all faiths, ethnicities, backgrounds, religions, genders, and sexual orientations.

  • The priority deadline for academic application is March 15. To book a personalized enrolment counselling appointment, contact our Recruitment Office at 1-306-206-2117.

  • The Luther Library has over 24,000 items in its collection, 5,000 books checked out per year, and 7,000 students who come through its door per month.

Register for Orientation

Luther University Preparation Program (UPrep) 

UPrep is a fun orientation program for first year Luther students.

Students participate in an array of activities including confidence-building workshops such as library tutorials and mock lectures to learn how to succeed in university-level courses. UPrep is held at the end of August each year. Seating is limited so make sure you register early!
 

New Domestic Student Orientation (UofR/Federated Colleges)

Attending Orientation will not only give you an opportunity to meet new students, but you will spend the day getting to know your faculty or federated college, gathering important information and skills, and attending exciting sessions.

New International Student Orientation (UofR/Federated Colleges)

Student success is at the heart of our International Orientation program. By joining this event, you will receive valuable information on how to have a wonderful first semester at the U of R, all while engaging in a positive social environment and becoming a part of a diverse and ever-growing community!
