Luther College to Host Second Project of Heart Program

With the arrival of a new year comes the promise of growth, hope, and progress. Luther College at the University of Regina is pleased to welcome back, for a second year, the Project of Heart program.

Project of Heart teaches about the history of the residential school system in Canada. Originally created by University of Regina graduate student Sylvia Smith, this free program was created to be inclusive of all communities and is open to all ages. Using an artistic approach, the people and families who were and are still affected by this system will be commemorated. This program is part of the process of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission. Come and be a part of this experience!

The schedule runs over a seven week period. Participants will meet bi-weekly on Saturday mornings from 9:00 a.m. to Noon as follows:

Saturday, January 14, 2017

Saturday, January 28, 2017

Saturday, February 11, 2017

Saturday, February 25, 2017

Complimentary parking will be made available to participants. As space is limited, those interested are encouraged to register as soon as possible.
