Fine Foods Community Youth Challenge Scholarship Program

Deadline: September 5
$2,500 scholarship for Grade 12 graduates who are residents of Saskatchewan or Manitoba. Student must be a resident of a participating Fine Foods Community Youth Challenge program store (in Regina – Klein’s Food Mart – Dorothy St., Pasqua St. Rochdale St.) Submissions must be accompanied with a resume that describes any activities involving extra curricular activities, sports, & community service and future goals. Loran Scholarship

The selection of a Loran Scholar is unique in its attention to a young person’s character. We believe that integrity, courage, grit and personal autonomy are better indicators of overall potential than standard academic measures. To discover these traits, we administer the most comprehensive and thorough scholarship selection process in Canada. Tenable at 25 partner universities, the Loran Award is valued at $100,000 over four years, including mentorship, funding for summer internships and participation in an extensive network of past and present scholars.

North American Van Lines Logistics Scholarship

Deadline: December 15
An annual scholarship valued at $1,000 awarded to four Canadian students interested in business, logistics, and related fields. To apply, candidates are required to write a brief essay of 400-800 words that explains why logistics/supply chain management is important within their college major.

Compass Mortgage Group Scholarships

Deadline: December 30
For students between ages seventeen and twenty-four and have at least one full year of post-secondary studies remaining at the time of the award. Essay required.

AFOA – Potash Corp Aboriginal Youth Financial Management Awards

Deadline: January 10
Open to aboriginal youth in Grades 11 and 12; short essay required.
Winners will receive a five year scholarship package valued at over $5,000. For 2015 – for four nights winners will attend the conference and awards ceremony at the AFOA Canada National Conference on February 17-19, 2015 in Winnipeg.
