Clubs and groups are an important part of life at Luther College High School. They give students the opportunity to explore interests, develop leadership skills, build community, and try something new. Whether you are passionate about the arts, academics, service, or simply connecting with others, there is a place for you. Students are encouraged to join clubs that spark their curiosity and, if an idea does not yet exist, to help create something new.
Creative, Media & Performing Arts
Multifaria (Yearbook)
The yearbook club works throughout the year to produce Luther’s annual yearbook.
Photo Club
Learn photography fundamentals, editing, and visual storytelling while capturing school life for displays, publications, and competitions.
Tatler (Student Newspaper)
A student-run publication featuring editorials, humour, art, and coverage of school events and issues.
Academic & STEM
Chess Club
Open to all skill levels, from beginners to experienced players, with opportunities to learn and improve strategy.
Debate & Model U.N. Club
Develop public speaking and critical thinking skills through structured debates, tournaments, and workshops at the provincial and national level.
Future Medical Professionals Club
The Future Medical Professionals Club provides students with the opportunity to learn abut health sciences and wellness.
STEM & Robotics Club
Hands-on activities and discussions for students interested in science, technology, engineering, and math. Design, build, and code robots for in-school competitions and the Saskatoon Robot Rumble.
Leadership, Service & Advocacy
Helping Hands
Students provide support to the Regina Lutheran Refugee Committee by way of donations. The Helping hands club will conduct fundraiser and clothing drives throughout the year.
Mental Wellness Club
A safe space to discuss anything on our minds. We will discuss and learn strategies to help cope with stress. The club members will create a place that will provide safety and love.
Student Representative Council (SRC)
Represents the student body and organizes school events, activities, and community initiatives.
Service Club
A student-run club focused on volunteerism and service opportunities supporting local and global causes.
YFLE (Youth for the Living Earth)
Club members contribute to a more sustainable Luther while educating ourselves about environmental issues and maintenance of local ecosystems, as well as providing a respectful environment for open discussion about climate change and the environment.
Culture, Identity & Community
Black Student Union (BSU)
Promotes cultural awareness, community, and advocacy while celebrating Black identity and experiences.
Bible & Theology Club
An open space for students to explore faith through discussion, worship, and community service
Chinese Student Union (CSU)
A community for anyone interested in Chinese culture and activity. We will share the culture and food.
International Mindedness
Students will explore different societies and cultures from around the world with an aim to share diverse perspectives on global themes and to collaborate together on global issues, both with fellow Luther students and from students in other schools around the world.
Muslim Student Association (MSA)
A community for anyone interested in Islam. Come to learn about the religion.
Queer Straight Alliance (QSA)
A safe, inclusive space that supports equity and belonging for sexual and gender minority students and allies.
Interests & Recreation
Fashion Club
This combined club will consist of students who are interested in clothing, fashion designing along with business & entrepreneurship.
Jam Club
Jam Club members will come together to create a safe space for students to play music of their choosing. Club members will provide entertainment at some school events.
Want to Start a New Club?
Have an idea for a club that does not yet exist? We encourage student initiative. With the support of a staff advisor, students can start new clubs based on shared interests and passions.
