Members meet monthly from November to June to discuss their thoughts and ideas related to an agreed upon fiction novel.

Christian Club is a place for everyone to explore their faith through times of worship, discussion, and serving the community.

Develop your public speaking skills by engaging in a highly structured form of argument over a variety of topics. In order to widen your understanding of these issues, you will have to learn to defend both sides of each debate topic. The Club meets one-two times a week to discuss the logistics of debate and engage in debate activities. Students have opportunity to debate other students/schools province-wide over the course of the year (there are usually four tournaments). There are debate workshops, opportunities to represent the school at a national level as well.

The Dorm Council represents the dorm students and organizes many events throughout the year to the benefit of all those in the dorms!

Let your imagination loose! Players gather regularly to role-play in a fantasy-based, interactive adventure game and solve problems as a team.

The Grad Chairperson is selected by the Grad Teacher Advisor. Planning for grad begins at the end of February and we encourage everyone to get involved.

Improv is a team sport where actors compete in five improvisational theatre sports creating scenes on the spot inspired by audience suggestions. Each year, Luther sends a number of teams to compete in the Canadian Improv Games Regional Tournament, where schools from Regina and the surrounding area compete for an opportunity to represent Saskatchewan at the national level. If you can think on your feet and be instantaneously creative, improv might be for you!

The International Café is an opportunity for all students to connect across cultures. Part of Luther’s intent to be internationally minded, the student-led Café hosts gatherings twice a month to focus on what binds us together globally yet makes us unique. Tea-tastings, games, summit-style forums, carnival-style celebrations are just some of the cafés themes, while snacks from around the world are always on offer.

The yearbook club meets all year to produce the annual Multifaria.

Every year, groups of students get together to act and otherwise assist in performing a one act play. The one act play festival is a yearly provincial event. Every year, we enter a play to our region, and we hold auditions to meet the demands of a new script.

The Outdoor Education Club exists to connect students to the beauty of outdoor spaces, and to build knowledge of and a relationship to the land and one another through formative experiences in the wilderness. Outdoor Education organizes an annual canoe trip where students travel to beautiful Northern Saskatchewan and adventure along the storied Churchill River. This experience, and others, help each of us create understanding, care, and stewardship of our environment and one another.

Photo Club is a fun and extremely social club that teaches you the fundamentals of photography as well as the different applications for which photography is used. All members of Photo Club have access to a variety of photography technologies such as Photoshop and some of the best cameras available. Pictures the members have taken are displayed in a variety of means, including being framed and hung throughout the school for all to enjoy. Members of the Photography Club volunteer to capture the essence of the different clubs and events for the yearbook as well as pictures for the Tatler. The club has the opportunity to participate in the Regina High School Black & White photo competition.

Robotics club provides students with the opportunity to build and code a sumobot with a partner. In their returning years, they will be supported in learning to 3D print and build their own robot that meets the competition standard. The club meets once a week and continues until late February, where we have an in-school competition. The top 3 teams advance to compete in the Saskatoon Robot rumble in late March.

Service Club is a student run group dedicated to bringing issues of global importance to the forefront of Luther College. Service Club organizes service opportunities for Luther's students. Some past examples of these opportunities are serving meals at the Souls Harbour RESCUE Mission, working with the children at the North Central Family Centre, salvaging buildings with Habitat for Humanity, as well as helping with the workings of the Indian Metis Christian Fellowship and the Blue Mantle Thrift Shop. Typically, Service Club meets every Thursday and occasionally on Saturday mornings. All students are welcome to help the fight versus hunger, homelessness and poverty.

The SRC is the student body’s representation within the school and the community and is responsible for organizing and coordinating various activities throughout the year. Students elect their SRC officers in June. Senior students are encouraged to run for positions on the executive committee and to get involved in school activities such as student dances, barbecues, community service and special events throughout the year.

The Tatler is the Luther College High School student newspaper. We like variety, and accept a wide range of contributions, including editorials, responses, humour, discussions on school issues or events, comics, drawings, and other art that can be printed.
