Did You Know?
Luther College welcomes students of all faiths, ethnicities, backgrounds, religions, genders, and sexual orientation.
Small classes = big advantages. As a federated college, Luther College classes are typically smaller. This allows for students to connect with their profs and classmates.
Luther College opened the first residence on campus in 1971, and is still a “home away from home” to students: meals, laundry, and lifelong friendship included.
The Luther College Residence is a great place for student athletes; it’s conveniently located and comes with a great meal plan.
Luther College students pay the same tuition and fees as other University of Regina students.
It pays to go to Luther College. Literally. Luther students are eligible for an additional $100,000 in scholarships, in addition to all of the awards available to them as U of R!
All programs at Luther College offer study abroad opportunities. As an affiliate of the U of R, we have partnerships with 450 universities across 70 different countries.
The Luther College Residence hosts multiple social events and programs throughout the year, such as Christmas Dinner, International Night, Mardi Gras, and Karaoke Night.
The Chapel Space
AKA: One of a few places you can light candles on campus.
AKA: The room with the comfy cushions in the corner.
The Luther Chapel is designed to be a place of peace and prayer. There is an excellent piano available for student use. The flooring of the chapel extends out into the hallway, and around the corner there is a small nook where you can partake in the chapel space even before you enter into the room.
Perhaps the most popular feature is the carpeted corner with the sky light and cushions. Students often stop in for deep meditation (sleep) in this corner, as well as quiet conversation.
Check the bulletin board outside the chapel to see if there are any official bookings but otherwise you are welcome to the space.
