Vaccination Information

Vaccines are the safest and most effective defence against COVID-19 and, in particular, the growing spread of the highly-transmissible Delta variant. With the return of many in-person courses, events, and activities on campus, members of our campus community have an expectation to learn, teach and work in the safest environment possible.

On August 13, 2021, the University of Regina announced that faculty, staff, and students, including the Federated Colleges (Luther, Campion, First Nations University of Canada) are required to be fully vaccinated effective October 1, 2021. Those who are not fully vaccinated will be required to undergo regular, rapid antigen testing.

For more information on the Fall 2021 Term requirements effective October 1, 2021, please visit https://www.uregina.ca/term-updates/vaccination.html

Mask Guidelines & Information

While plans were in place to partially lift the mask mandate on University of Regina campuses on August 1, changing circumstances in recent days, including a slight increase in the number of reported COVID-19 cases in the province as well as the presence of the highly-transmissible Delta variant, have resulted in the University delaying this change.

The current mask mandate, which has been in place on our campuses for nearly a year, will remain in effect for the time being. For more information on mask guidelines, please visit https://www.uregina.ca/term-updates/return-to-campus.html
