Funding Priorities

Your gift can help to support the following Luther College at the University of Regina initiatives:

Fall Appeal 2020

The rising costs of post-secondary education can create an obstacle for many students. Regrettably, many of our hard-working students are facing additional financial hardship due to the pandemic. Summer jobs that they relied on to help pay for tuition for the current academic year did not exist or their hours were severely reduced. For many, support from their parents is also not an option as a result of the economic situation.

New Luther College President, The Rev. Dr. Marc Jerry believes there is nothing more important than education: there is no better way to improve economic inequality, support sustainability, and create civically and globally minded leaders who care for the world around them. That is why he has committed to making a personal donation/pledging his personal financial support to the Luther College President’s Scholarship. This scholarship, valued at $1,000 annually per student, will help alleviate financial barriers (e.g. tuition and/or textbooks) faced by many students entering university.

Your gift will help us to raise an additional $20,000 to offer a total of 5 Luther College President’s Scholarships each year for the next 5 years. These scholarships will be given to students entering Luther who demonstrate how they will use their time at Luther College to discover their vocation and make a difference in the world. Read our Fall 2020 Appeal letter to learn more.

Please consider making a donation today to help us meet or exceed our goal of $20,000.

Every gift counts. Your gift WILL make a difference.

Scholarships & Bursaries

As university costs increase, scholarship and bursaries are more important than ever to students. Your scholarship support directly benefits deserving and outstanding Luther students working toward a liberal arts degree by reducing the cost of their tuition and/or textbooks.

Some donors choose to make a gift to enhance one of our many existing scholarships. Other donors also wish to establish their own scholarship. A minimum of $18,750 is required to endow a new scholarship.

For more information on donating to, or establishing a, scholarship or bursary, please contact Michelle Clark at 1-306-585-5144 or
