  • The Luther Library has over 24,000 items in its collection, 5,000 books checked out per year, and 7,000 students who come through its door per month.

  • Luther College appeals to students who want to study in a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment. We welcome students of all faiths, ethnicities, backgrounds, religions, genders, and sexual orientations.

  • Luther College offers Bundles programs that group together first-year students and classes to give you a great start and help ease the transition from high school to university.

  • Luther College students are eligible for an additional $100,000 in academic awards – in addition to scholarships and bursaries awarded by the U of R.

  • To enroll as a Luther College student, simply fill out the University of Regina application form and select Luther as your campus of choice.

  • Luther College participates in Admission on the Spot events - campus tours, reduced application fees, and the relief of finding out you are accepted to your program immediately!

  • Our student residence, The Student Village at Luther College, is a great place for student athletes to call home. The U of R Kinesiology Building is footsteps away with its Olympic size pool, gymnasium, and health centre.

  • Luther students can register in Arts, Science, or Media, Art, and Performance. Luther students are U of R students and receive a U of R degree.

  1. Luther College Info Night
    Each year, Luther College holds an information night during the first week of October. Learn about pre-professional programmingscholarshipspicking a degree, the benefits of registering through Luther, and more. Meet current students and faculty, hear from current professionals, learn about the various career paths our alumni have taken, and discover the variety of program options available through Luther College at the University of Regina. Details for Information Night 2021 will be available in August 2021.
     
  2. University of Regina (U of R) Fall Open House
    The U of R holds an annual Fall Open House the first weekend of October to help prospective students like yourself explore the U of R's programs and help you plan for your future - and they will even help you get started on your application. The event includes a series of sessions to learn about the U of R - including information on programs, admission requirements, housing options, and campus life! Fall Open House is open to prospective students, parents, supporters, and guidance counsellors!

1) Book an Academic Advising Appointment
Book an academic advising appointment now by calling the Luther Academic Office at 1-306-585-5444.
 

2) Attend New Student Orientations  
New student orientations are generally held at the beginning of each the Fall and Winter semesters. Watch this page or social media (Facebook: @LCUR1971; Instagram: @lutheredu) for info on upcoming orientations.

Luther University Preparation Program (UPrep) - August 19 - 20, 2021
UPrep is a fun, two-day orientation program for first year students entering the faculties of Arts, Science, and MAP (Media, Art, and Performance) and pre-professional programs at the University of Regina and Federated Colleges.It is held at the end of August each year, and students participate in an array of activities including confidence building workshops (e.g. Goal Setting and Future Planning, Learning Techniques, Library Necessities), attend academic lectures, and more! There is a maximum capacity of 45 students so make sure you register early in the spring!
