Luther College offers Bundles programs that group together first-year students and classes to give you a great start and help ease the transition from high school to university.
Luther students can register in Arts, Science, or Media, Art, and Performance. Luther students are U of R students and receive a U of R degree.
Wondering where to live? Our student residence, The Student Village at Luther College, is considered a great choice for first-year student accommodation. Individual private rooms mean you can stick to your own schedule and you never have to deal with roommate hassles.

Every degree program at Luther College offers a study abroad option and an optional experiential learning component where you gain real world experience and get paid while going to school!
Eating better means studying better. The Luther Cafeteria offers fresh, healthy, nutritious meals seven days a week with a self-serve “all-you-care-to-eat” concept students prefer.
The Luther Library has over 24,000 items in its collection, 5,000 books checked out per year, and 7,000 students who come through its door per month.
Luther College students are U of R students and receive all the same benefits. Upon graduation you will receive a U of R degree.
Project of Heart, Winter 2023
The National Truth and Reconciliation Commission has identified 94 calls to action to redress the legacy of residential schools in Canada. Project of Heart answers this call and addresses the history of residential schools while providing a safe space and programmatic structure to engage, to take positive action, and to collectively identify ways to build towards a better future. In fact, Project of Heart has been selected as a National Commemoration Project by the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada.
Project of Heart was founded by University of Regina graduate student, Sylvia Smith. Since its inception, Project of Heart has been offered across all provinces and territories across Canada. In 2011, Sylvia Smith received the Governor General’s award for Project of Heart.
Project of Heart is an inquiry based, hands-on, collaborative, intergenerational, artistic journey that examines the history and legacy of the residential school system forced upon Indigenous people in Canada. Project of Heart seeks to uncover the truth about that history and acknowledge the extent of loss to former students, their families, and communities. With the use of artistry and Indigenous ceremony, participants in Project of Heart learn about and commemorate the lives of the thousands of Indigenous children who died as a result of the residential school experience. It calls the participants to action through social justice endeavors, to recognize our current and historic colonialist practices and to build right relationships, based upon truth and reconciliation, amongst all people with the intention to transform Canada from a colonized land to one built upon mutual respect and full autonomy for all.

Project of Heart will be offered weekly from January 18th until April 6th 2023, The class will be offered on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Luther College, University of Regina Campus. The class will be face-to-face, as long as it remains safe to do so. Luther College at the University of Regina is a mask friendly space.

Luther College has offered Project of Heart since 2016. In our programming, we strive to include a broad spectrum of community educators and leaders from Indigenous communities for guidance and leadership. Project of Heart aims to bring Indigenous and non-Indigenous people, from all experiences, together to enter into conversation and learn from one another with the ultimate goal of forming relationships through time spent together.
