Jody Hilderman, in her first term of service, has served on the Board of Regents since 2017. A Professional Engineer with her PMP (Project Management Professional), and CMRP (Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional) designations, she is currently working in operations at a plant facility – a Senior Mine Manager for Mosaic Potash – and very much enjoys her work there.
Though not a graduate of Luther College, Jody is still an alumna, having attended the University campus for the 1996/97 school year prior to transferring into Engineering. Her other link to Luther College comes from her home congregation of Christ Lutheran Church, which has a close affiliation with Luther College High School.
She is passionate about giving back to Luther College as a board member because, as she says, “It is important for me to contribute time and energy to something that I believe is a meaningful service in the community that I live,” and, for Jody, Luther most certainly provides fits that bill. “Luther provides an opportunity for students to receive a high quality education within a Christian context.”
In her spare time, Jody volunteers as the Treasurer of the Regina Marlins Swim Club and brings music to life as the Pianist for the Christ Lutheran Chamber Choir.
