Academic Counselling

Luther College High School is recognized as one of the best university preparatory schools in western Canada. Luther graduates have gone on to universities such as Harvard, the University of Pennsylvania, Oxford, McGill, Queen's and other renowned educational institutions throughout Canada, the United States and the world.

Students who have questions about university requirements, external scholarships, application procedures or university IB recognition are encouraged to book an appointment with our Academic Guidance Counsellor, Dr. Julia Mitchell. Dr. Mitchell has a wealth of experience as an academic counsellor, mentor, and post-secondary advisor for all students, including international and IB students.

Students are also invited to attend various university Open Houses arranged each fall. These visits will be posted on the website calendar (link at the top of the website) and announced in Chapel.
