Locker Clean Out and Textbook Return

Locker Clean Out and Textbook Return Process

Many of you are wondering how to retrieve your belongings or return your school property once online classes have been completed. The safety of our students, faculty and staff throughout this process is paramount.  The following schedule has been developed to best meet public distancing protocols and limit the size of social gatherings.

Grade 9, 10, 11

Grade 9, 10 and 11 students will be permitted to return to campus by assigned TAG (teacher-assigned group) to return their library and textbooks or other school property, to empty their gym locker room and hallway lockers, and receive a school yearbook. (Students: TAG assignments, locker numbers and combos can be checked in OSA in your student profile if you need to look that up prior to your pick up date.)

Safety Protocols

When students arrive at the west doors any time during the three-hour block assigned to their TAG, they will find staff on hand who will operate and sanitize doors.  There also will be signage prominently displayed with instructions for:

  • maintaining social distance aided by taped markers on walking surfaces;
  • finding hand cleaner, gloves and sanitary wipes;
  • following one-way traffic directions;
  • waiting safely in line-ups;
  • returning school property one at a time;
  • proceeding to lockers in limited numbers to collect personal belongings;
  • restricting access to only necessary areas through the placement of orange safety tripods and locked doors;
  • exiting campus through the band room doors;
  • administration, faculty and staff will be assigned to manage this process at every step, to maintain safety standards (especially spacing and group sizes), and respond to questions or concerns.

 We are committed to making this necessary process as safe as possible for our students.
