Graduation 2022

Graduation 2022

We are excited to share our plans for Graduation 2022 to celebrate our graduates with our families and the community!

The following is an outline of graduation events and prices. We are planning the event based on current health guidelines and will be prepared to adjust if the guidelines change. Our event will be mask friendly and hand sanitizer will be available; however, there will be no gathering limit or proof of vaccine required.

The graduation ceremony WILL be livestreamed and recorded for future viewing on Luther's YouTube channel.

Saturday, June 25 - Graduation Day

BACCALAUREATE SERVICE (Cap & Gown Ceremony) – Merlis Belsher Heritage Centre (MBHC)

  • 9:00 a.m. - Graduates arrive at LCHS and meet in the library wearing their gown, v-stole, cap and tassel.  Graduates received these items last week.  We recommend ironing the gown and v-stole prior to graduation day.
  • 9:30 a.m. - Graduates will line up in alphabetical order in preparation for entry into the MBHC.
  • 10:00 a.m. - Baccalaureate Service begins in the MBHC.  Parents and guests are encouraged to arrive early because there is no reserved seating.  Please enter via the west doors.  These doors will open at 8:00 a.m.  The doors to the MBHC will open at 9:00 a.m. (a previous letter said the doors would open at 9:30 a.m., but they will now open earlier).  The service typically lasts 2 – 2.5 hours.
  • The service will be livestreamed for anyone who cannot attend in person.  The livestream can be viewed on Luther’s YouTube channel which can be accessed using the link below:

https://www.youtube.com/c/LutherMedia/videos

The service will be recorded and archived, and viewable any time afterwards on our YouTube channel.

  • Following the Baccalaureate Service, families and graduates are encouraged to take photos on the front lawn or in the student commons.
