Welcome President Dr. Marc Jerry
We welcome Rev. Dr. Marc Jerry as the eighth President of Luther College.
Dr. Jerry brings a combination of expertise in business, academics, leadership, partnership building, and religious faith to his new role. He comes to us most recently from Red Deer College where he was a faculty member at the Donald School of Business, and brings over 20+ years of teaching and administrative experience including with Mount Royal University and the University of Calgary.
Dr. Jerry is also an ordained Lutheran pastor and has served ELCIC and Anglican parishes in both Alberta and Saskatchewan. He has a doctorate in Theology from St. Andrew’s Theological College and Seminary, a Master of Divinity from the Lutheran Theological Seminary, Saskatoon, as well as a Master of Arts in Economics from Lakehead University, and an undergraduate economics degree from the University of Calgary. In addition, he is a pilot and a husband to his wife Marnie, and they have a daughter Carmen.
