What can I study?
At Luther, you have the opportunity to study within the liberal arts, an area of general studies that seeks to develop critical thinking and encourage intellectual engagement with the surrounding world. We envision our students as explorers, discoverers and innovators, and we aim to provide you with the knowledge you need to make a difference in the world.
Luther students explore a variety of subject areas within the fine arts, humanities, social sciences, sciences and pre-professional disciplines, including:
- art history
- biology
- computer science
- geography
- languages and literature
- mathematics
- music
- philosophy
- psychology
- religious studies
- and many more…
You can participate in several of Luther’s first-year programs designed to introduce you to a variety of liberal arts disciplines and approaches, as well as cooperative education opportunities and exchange programs with other universities.
