Regina the capital of the Province of Saskatchewan, located in the southern part of one of Canada’s western "prairie provinces." There are about 200 000 people living in Regina, giving the city a pleasant blend of big-city amenities and small-town friendliness. Regina also has the largest urban park in North America, which winds all the way through the city and borders the university campus. The park consists of abundant green spaces, a lake and connected creek, and a bird sanctuary, which is located very near to the University of Regina campus. Regina also has a transit system, which can provide you with a means of transportation within the city.
