Attend this 2-day intensive session to

• learn how to be academically successful
• connect with professors
• explore university life

Lay a foundation for success by

• learning how to navigate a university lecture
• discovering the secrets to reading and writing well in various disciplines
• mastering the skills of active learning, such as effective note-taking and classroom participation

Program schedule:

• 29 August, 4:30 pm: pizza, move-in & introduction
• 30 August, 8 am –  9 pm: meals, group activities & academic success sessions
• 31 August, 8 am – 4:30 pm: meals, group activities, academic success sessions & conclusion

Fee: $120**
**Includes room, board & September Jumpstart

September Jumpstart 2012

Jumpstart is Luther College’s first-year student orientation program. It gives new students a chance to test-drive university life before classes actually begin!

Make sure your first-year toolkit is full before classes start. Join us on Tuesday 4 September 2012 beginning at 8:45 am for Jumpstart (first-year orientation) in the Luther Auditorium. Free parking is available in lot 3 ("M" areas).
