SELECTED AWARDS & GRANTS

  • “Fasch Prize 2005 of the City of Zerbst”, Germany: International award conferred in recognition of the enormous commitment and many years of tireless service in Europe and overseas spent researching and popularizing the life and works of the former Kapellmeister of the Court of Anhalt-Zerbst, J. F. Fasch; this was the first time that this bi-annual prize was presented to a scholar outside Europe.
  • “Popular Professor at the University of Regina” (2004, 2005 and 2006), McLean’s Special Guide to Canadian Universities.
  • University of Regina Inspiring Teaching Award (2004).
