Luther College Improv team advances to nationals
Luther recently competed in Saskatchewan’s only Regional Improv Tournament. The event was hosted in Regina, and welcomed a total of 18 competing teams. Luther had 2 teams entered in the games; 'As You Like It' and 'Prov I Am.' Although both teams did very well, ‘Prov I am’ went into finals. While only 3 of the players had previous improv experience, Luther managed to finish on top for the first time in the regional tournament’s history! The students will go on to represent Luther College and Saskatchewan in the National games held at the National Arts Centre in Ottawa from 19-23 April. Students will also take part in a range of activities and workshops throughout the week as part of the National Festival. Congratulations to Sarah and Nat Bergbusch HS 2013, Graham and Spencer Reid HS 2011, Cassy Cozman HS 2012, Mira van Burk HS 2012, Aaron Fritzler HS 2012, and Ben Dewalt HS 2012!
